QuickBooks versus Agaro ERP
QuickBooks is excellent bookkeeping software, and for a sole proprietor that is often all that is needed. As soon as a company sells from inventory, runs a sales pipeline, or pays a team, the books become the last step of work that happened somewhere else, and every month starts with copying it in.
Agaro ERP keeps that work and the books on one record. The customer you won in CRM is the customer on the invoice, the stock you sold is the stock the journal moves, and the people on payroll are the employees whose attendance you approved. Essentials is $29 per full user per month with every module and role-based access with 5 fixed roles. Scale is $49 and adds full role-based and attribute-based access control (custom access groups, record rules, and field-level security), AI agents, API and MCP access, and multi-company. Employee accounts for clocking in, time off, and payslips are free, and payroll includes the first 10 employees each month, then $4 per employee.
