Manifesto

Companies will hire AI the way they hire people.

Agaro believes AI should work like a good employee: a login, a role, the access the job needs, and a record of what it did. Today that means one AI, Agaro Agent, in Preview / Pilot. This page is what we believe and where we are headed.

What we believe.

Eight beliefs about work, AI, and the software in between.

  1. AI will become part of the team.

Companies hire people, give them a login and a role, and trust them with real work. We believe companies will do the same with AI. Not as a chat box in the corner of a screen, but as a teammate with a place in the business.

  2. The best AI works like your best employee.

Picture the colleague at the next desk with a coffee. They can reach the people and the tools the job needs, and nothing more. They tell you what they did. They ask before anything that matters. That is the standard we hold AI to.

  3. Access decides everything.

An AI that can do anything is a risk. An AI that can do nothing is a toy. Companies already know the answer, because they use it for people: roles, permissions, and a record of who did what. One permission model should cover people and AI alike.

  4. The AI belongs where the work lives.

Customers, invoices, stock, people, payroll, tasks. If the AI lives outside the system that holds them, all it can do is talk about the work. Inside that system, it can do the work through the same actions a person uses.

  5. Numbers come from engines, not guesses.

Totals, tax, numbering, and payroll are calculated by deterministic engines. The AI asks the engine. It does not estimate a number, and it does not make one up.

  6. People stay in charge.

Moving money, running payroll, deleting records, sending anything outside the company, and changing who can do what should always ask a person first, whatever approval mode someone chooses.

  7. Software should fit your company.

Every business works a little differently. Changing the system should take a sentence and a decision, not a consultant and a quarter. You describe the change, you read it, and you apply it or you do not.

  8. Cyborgs, not replacements.

We use the word on purpose. We mean people with the reach of a machine: a small team that can carry the work of a larger one, with judgment, relationships, and responsibility staying human. We are not building something to make people unnecessary.

Where we are today.

The beliefs above are where we are headed. What exists today is smaller, and we describe it exactly.

Today Agaro has one AI: Agaro Agent. It works inside the ERP with the same roles and access as the person who asks. It finds records, answers questions about your business, prepares supported work, and can customize your ERP through changes you read and approve. It asks before it changes anything.

That is the whole list, and we would rather say so than let you assume more. We will tell you when something new exists, and not before.

Agaro ERP is in Preview / Pilot with a small group of customers. We are not publishing a general availability date.

What we promise.

  • We say what exists.

Our site describes what Agaro does today. A belief is labelled as a belief, and a plan is never presented as a feature.

  • The AI never has more access than you.

Agaro Agent works with the role, module access, and permissions of the person who asks, in the app, through the API, and over MCP.

  • The important things always ask.

Moving money, running payroll, deleting records, sending anything outside the company, and changing who can do what always ask a person first.
